Broombluff
Broom Bluff Cottage is in a quiet neighbourhood with a few other homes, cottages, resorts, overlooking Gowland Harbour and to Vancouver Island beyond (i.e., facing west). It's pretty central; 10 min drive from 'the Cove' (Campbell River ferry, shops, bank, gas, videos, eateries, etc.), 5 min to Heriot Bay (store, marina, Cortez Is. ferry), short drive to Rebecca Spit (great beach, trails & picnic area). There are galleries and studios all over the island, and an excellent 1st Nations museum. Great cycling, on and off-road; bring your bikes (or rent some here). You can also rent kayaks, canoes, salmon boats and gear or take a fishing , sailing or dive charter.
